Pacaya Volcano

Pacaya, one Guatemala´s youngest volcanoes, offers climbers a unique glance into the geologi bowels of the earth, is an active volcano in Guatemala, which first erupted approximately 23,000 years ago. Pacaya rises to an elevation of 2,552 meters (8,373 ft), is the most frequently climbed volcano in Guatemala. It is relatively easily accessible and commonly puts on a good show for volcano enthusiasts.
